SANTA CRUZ (AAN): As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, the Aruba Police Force (KPA) continues its educational and informative series “E Porta Blauw: E Bida di un Polis,” highlighting the lives and careers of its officers.
In Episode 2, the spotlight is on Commissioner Adrick Croes, who currently leads intelligence, expertise, and special departments within KPA. Born in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, Croes developed a passion for becoming a police officer from a young age, choosing this path over his interest in sports.
Throughout his career, Croes has taken on various roles, steadily advancing within the police force. From studying tactical management in the Netherlands to serving in multiple leadership positions in Aruba, he eventually became Commissioner in 2025.
Croes emphasized that his focus was never solely on rank, but rather on learning and contributing to the organization. His involvement in intelligence and special services has allowed him to play a key role in daily operations and strategic development.
Reflecting on 25 years of service, he expressed pride in the progress of the Aruba Police Force and highlighted the importance of teamwork, continuous development, and strong communication among officers.
Looking ahead, Croes noted the importance of adapting to technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, to strengthen policing capabilities. He also praised the dedication of local officers, emphasizing that despite limitations, their commitment remains the organization’s greatest strength.
The Adrick Croes Aruba Police Career story reflects dedication, growth, and leadership, inspiring both current officers and the wider community.
