ORANJESTAD (AAN): On Monday evening, a report was received regarding a fire on the roof of a house in the Opal area. Both police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arriving, the firefighters climbed to the roof of the first floor and noticed smoke emanating from the roof. They discovered a fire, which was traced to a short-circuiting wire. The firefighters took immediate action by disconnecting the wire and extinguishing the fire, preventing further damage.
