Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion Exhibition Opens at Aruba National Library

The Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition will officially open on Monday at the Biblioteca Nacional Aruba, inviting the community to explore a vibrant collection of artworks created by visual artist Lucia Lacle.

The Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition will remain open to the public until the end of March 2026, allowing visitors to experience a unique display of artistic creativity and expression.

A Collection of 40 Colorful Artworks

During the Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition, the artist will present 40 expressive and colorful paintings created using various artistic techniques and materials.

Visitors will be able to see artworks created with different mediums, including:

  • acrylic

  • oil paint

  • watercolor

  • charcoal

Each material contributes a distinct style and visual effect, offering a diverse artistic experience throughout the exhibition.

Reflection of Personal Artistic Growth

The Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition reflects the artist’s personal journey and artistic development over many years. The collection includes paintings that explore a variety of themes such as:

  • landscapes

  • nature and flowers

  • still-life compositions

  • portraits in different artistic styles

Some works follow a realistic style, while others incorporate abstract elements, highlighting emotion, movement, and color. Together, the artworks represent a balance between structure and creative freedom.

Lucia Lacle has been painting for more than 40 years, and the Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition marks her first solo exhibition open to the public.

Meet the Artist

The exhibition will be accessible during the regular opening hours of the National Library of Aruba.

Lucia Lacle will also be present to guide visitors through the exhibition and provide explanations about her work during special moments:

  • March 11, 2026: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • National Anthem and Flag Day: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

These sessions will allow visitors to engage directly with the artist and gain deeper insight into her creative process.

The Lucia Lacle Soul Expresion exhibition offers the community an opportunity to experience art that reflects decades of creativity, passion, and personal expression.
