The Government of Aruba recently held a positive and constructive meeting with the Blue Marine Foundation and the Aruba Conservation Foundation (ACF).
The purpose of the meeting was to further explore and strengthen the existing collaboration between the parties, with a focus on continuing to support Aruba in sustainable marine protection planning, management, and financing.
Government to meet Blue Marine Foundation is an international organization with more than 15 years of experience in ocean conservation globally. For the past five years, they have worked closely with ACF in Aruba, supporting efforts such as mangrove restoration initiatives, institutional strengthening, and providing technical support for science-based planning.
During the meeting, Prime Minister of Aruba, Mr. Mike Eman, and Minister of Infrastructure, Rene Herdé, exchanged ideas about progress, next steps, and opportunities to continue strengthening the protection and responsible management of Aruba’s marine environment.
The Government of Aruba thanked the Blue Marine Foundation and ACF for their continued commitment and collaboration to benefit Aruba and its natural resources.
