ORANJESTAD (AAN): The Aruba National Reforestation Plan MoU was officially signed during the Common Good Conference, marking another important step toward strengthening Aruba’s social-ecological system through reforestation and green urban infrastructure.

The signing ceremony took place within the framework of Aruba’s National Reforestation Program, an initiative aimed at enhancing environmental resilience while improving the quality of life for communities across the island.

For this occasion, Prime Minister Mike Eman and Minister of Infrastructure Rene Herde, together with a broad group of private-sector and institutional partners, signed the Aruba National Reforestation Plan MoU to formally confirm their shared commitment. Participating organizations included Save More Supermarkets NV, Aruba Bank, Aruba Wine & Dine Holding, Hospital Dr. Horacio Oduber, Eagle Aruba Resort, Jolly Holding, Pepe Margo, and Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort.
