Filomena College Carnival Achievements Celebrated at MAVO Campus

Filomena College MAVO in San Nicolas honored its students for outstanding Filomena College Carnival achievements during a special school ceremony attended by the entire student body.

Student Anwizyann “Zizi” Geerman received major recognition after winning titles including Reina Popular, Best Dress, and Second Runner-Up at the Reina Hubenil 2026 election in Carnival Village. First-year student Brayden Elizabeth also brought pride to the school by winning the Soca Monarch Infantil 2026 crown.

Additionally, students Lizienne Webb and Georvin Angela were recognized for winning the Rey and Reina di Dande titles at the end of 2025. To honor these Filomena College Carnival achievements, the school administration presented appreciation gifts during a ceremony held at Plaza Johnny Lue.

The event also introduced the newly formed Kiwanis Builders Club of Filomena College, guided by teacher Raquel Leocadia, highlighting continued student involvement in community and cultural activities.
