A festive and well-attended Carnival election took place Saturday night at the Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village in San Nicolas, where the title of Señora Carnaval was officially awarded.
The event featured several organizational changes, yet the competition itself proceeded smoothly. The evening combined the election of Señora Carnaval with that of the Youth Carnival Queen, offering an entertaining and dynamic program for attendees.
Candidates for Señora Carnaval showcased their talents through presentations, speeches, costumes, and stage performances. The show was enhanced by strong sound editing and visual backgrounds, contributing to a polished and engaging atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the competition, Marylain Ras, representing TOB Carnival Group / Grupo di Hospital, was crowned Señora Carnaval. She received the golden crown during a ceremony led by Minister Mervin Wyatt-Ras.
The title of First Runner-Up was awarded to Xialainne Gennilee Ras of Royal Carnival Group / EPB, while Second Runner-Up went to Carolina Chiquinquira Croes Martinez, representing Gucci Dancers Aruba.
Marylain Ras also dominated the special awards of the evening. She was named Señora Carnaval Popular, received the award for Best Speech, won Best Show, and was recognized for Best Costume, all representing TOB Carnival Group.
