Aruba’s Plataforma Aruba has announced the first Open Studio event of its inclusive art program Invisible Perspectives, taking place on Friday, December 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the FAVI Aruba building.
During the evening, ten blind and visually impaired students will present a selection of photographs they created as part of the program’s first module. The works showcase their personalities, creativity, and unique way of “seeing” art through sound, touch, and lived experience.
An Event Celebrating Inclusion and Creativity
Invisible Perspectives is an initiative by Plataforma Aruba in collaboration with FAVI Aruba, designed to make art accessible to everyone—including individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
The Open Studio will welcome family, friends, and the community to learn about the creative process, the teaching methods, and the powerful expression that emerges when art is freed from visual limitations. This event is made possible thanks to the many contributors who helped bring the students’ artistic work to life with professionalism and care.
