Aruba may soon become the official host of the Miss Teen Universe International pageant in 2027. The possibility was presented this week to Minister Gerlien Croes and Minister Wendrick Cicilia, both of whom oversee youth, legal affairs, and community development.
During the presentation, representatives from Teen Universe International honored Aruba’s reigning queen with a special award recognizing her exceptional achievements and dedication throughout her reign.
Aruba continues to celebrate a historic moment following the victory of Guizza Maria Steenvoorde, who won the title of Teen Universe International 2025. Representing the island with pride, courage, and inclusivity, Guizza stood out among 35 contestants from around the world. Her success was not only due to her talent and stage presence, but also her powerful personal story of resilience.
The potential opportunity to host the global pageant would mark another significant milestone for Aruba on the international stage.
