The 36th InterExpo Conference will be held from December 9 to 11, 2025, at the Nieuwspoort Debate Center in The Hague under the theme “Fifteen Years After 10/10/10.”
The conference will gather key leaders from across the Kingdom of the Netherlands, including Prime Minister Mike Eman of Aruba, Prime Minister Gilmar “Pik” Pisas of Curaçao, and Prime Minister Luc Mercelina of St. Maarten, along with former Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende. The discussion will be moderated by Ernst Hirsch Ballin, former Dutch Minister of Justice and Kingdom Relations.
Organizer Peter Oerlemans of InterExpo emphasized that the event aims to strengthen cooperation and dialogue between the Caribbean islands and the Netherlands. Over 100 participants from politics, academia, and business — including representatives from the Supreme Court of the Netherlands and UNESCO — are expected to attend.
With nearly all space already reserved, this year’s InterExpo promises to be a major platform for reflection on progress and challenges since the 10/10/10 constitutional reforms, which reshaped relations within the Kingdom.
