After a successful run in Amsterdam, organizers Desiree Croes and Omar Harms announce that the 2nd Krioyo Film Festival 2025 will take place at Sambil Curaçao. Three Aruban works—E Bruha, Bruhà, Lus riba Lama, and the documentary The Prime Ministers—will be showcased and compete for the Kadushi di Oro 2025.
Festival dates: October 26–31 and November 1–2.
The festival was founded by a committee of filmmakers including Giovanni Atalita and Orlando Martina. Last year, the short film E Berguensa (starring Safire Croes, Addonsito Croes, and Lelicia Tromp) won the Kadushi di Oro 2024.
