he Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association (AHATA), in collaboration with the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF), has celebrated the achievement of 75 supervisors and managers who successfully completed the “Supercharged Bootcamp for Supervisors and Managers.”

This advanced one-day program delivered a highly interactive, practical, and impactful learning experience, designed specifically for professionals who must navigate the modern challenges of the tourism industry. The bootcamp was offered exclusively to participants previously certified through AHATA’s “Own Your Supervisory Authority Responsibly” bootcamp from 2023 to 2025, giving them the opportunity to further expand their knowledge and strengthen their leadership abilities.

The curriculum focused on equipping supervisors and managers with essential tools to lead with confidence, improve team performance, and elevate customer satisfaction to exceptional levels. Participants engaged in high-level sessions covering advanced communication, coaching, accountability strategies, and excellence in teamwork.

AHATA President & CEO, Mrs. Tisa LaSorte, congratulated all participants for their dedication and vital role in Aruba’s economy. Mr. James Hepple, Treasurer of CHTAEF, also delivered motivating and encouraging remarks. Mrs. LaSorte, together with workshop instructors Mrs. Louise John and Mrs. Suzanne Shillingford-Brooks, presented certificates during an energetic and uplifting ceremony.

The evening concluded with a joyful reception where participants and guests continued the celebration and had the opportunity to network and learn from one another. Supervisors from various companies shared experiences, creating new connections and strengthening collaboration within the sector.

AHATA expressed sincere appreciation to Eagle Aruba Resort and La Cabana Beach Resort for their consistent support in making these workshops possible. The organization also highlighted the valuable partnership with CHTAEF, which continues to contribute to elevating service excellence across Aruba.
