Between October and December 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Research (DAO) and the Central Bank of Aruba (CBA), conducted the 2024 Labor Force Survey (LFS2024).

The main goal of LFS2024 was to provide a detailed and up-to-date view of Aruba’s labor market.

According to the survey results:

  • Employment rate: 60.8%

  • Unemployment rate: 4.3%

  • Economically inactive (students, retirees, homemakers): 36.5%

CBS extends gratitude to everyone who cooperated with the LFS2024.
