On July 17, the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) Germany brought the island’s rich culinary heritage to life with a special series of events designed to captivate bloggers and journalists. The Aruba Culinary Scene Event featured an Influencer Brunch and a Journalist Dinner, both highlighting Aruba’s authentic dishes, creative cocktails, and cultural storytelling.
At the brunch, influencers enjoyed Aruba’s culinary diversity, guided by Chef Urvin Croes, who introduced Aruba’s signature dish Keshi Yena, paired with refreshing Aruba Ariba cocktails. Later in the day, journalists joined an interactive dinner, preparing traditional Aruban Quesillo alongside Chef Croes, while exchanging stories and creating media buzz.
The events left a strong impression on attendees, with authentic flavors and memorable experiences reinforcing Aruba’s position as a culinary tourism destination. The initiative reflects Aruba’s ongoing strategy to merge local flair with global reach, building visibility through creative food activations.
This culinary showcase follows Aruba’s success at international stages such as the Taste São Paulo Festival 2025, where Chef Croes hosted a masterclass to share the island’s Caribbean flavors with food enthusiasts. Together, these events emphasize how Aruba is expanding its global reputation through food, culture, and hospitality.
