Aruba and Curaçao were honored guests at the Dutch King’s Day event hosted by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in São Paulo. Held at the elegant Solar Cabl Prado, the event showcased the strong cultural and tourism connections between the Caribbean islands, the Netherlands, and Brazil, reinforcing their ongoing relationships with Brazilian travelers and highlighting direct flights from Brazil.

Tourism from Brazil Sees Over 100% Growth

Carlos Barbosa, Director of the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) in Brazil, celebrated an outstanding over 100% increase in Brazilian visitors to Aruba in the last quarter. He reiterated Aruba’s dedication to providing exceptional tourism experiences on the “One Happy Island,” underscoring the island’s growing appeal among Brazilian travelers.

Curaçao Sets Goal for 51,000 Brazilian Visitors by 2025

Marcos Oliveira and Brazilian influencer Lala Rebelo, representing Curaçao, highlighted their target of welcoming 51,000 Brazilian tourists by 2025. The event was a celebration of Dutch heritage and served as an excellent opportunity to deepen the cultural and tourism ties between Brazil and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Aruba to Exhibit at ABAV-SP 2025 with Copa Airlines

Aruba will be showcasing its offerings at the 2025 edition of ABAV-SP, held on April 9–10 at Expo D. Pedro in Campinas, São Paulo. The island will have a shared stand with Copa Airlines, emphasizing the significance of their strategic partnership, which connects Brazil to Aruba via Panama. The initiative aims to further boost tourist arrivals from Brazil, underlining the importance of air connectivity.

Strategic Outreach to Brazilian Travel Trade

During ABAV-SP, the Aruba team will engage with travel agents and tour operators, presenting new offerings, unique experiences, and sales opportunities. “ABAV-SP is a great platform to strengthen our relationships with the São Paulo travel trade, which is vital for Aruba’s tourism,” said Carlos Barbosa, ATA Brazil Director.
