Bogotá, Colombia – June 18, 2025 – Aruba made a powerful impression in Colombia’s capital during the Aruba Bogotá Travel Event, transforming a day into an extraordinary experience of learning, networking, and celebration for top travel advisors.

Hosted at the lively iLatina venue, the event brought together Colombian travel professionals to strengthen their knowledge of One Happy Island and gain valuable tools to better promote Aruba to their clients.

Strengthening Aruba’s Tourism Ties with Colombia

Aruba partnered with leading travel agencies and airlines, including Secrets Baby Beach, Aviatur, Bestravel, The Travel Planner, Eagle Resort, UGA Turismo, CIC Travel, Tureserva, Price Agencies, Copa Airlines, Avianca, and Wingo.

Together, they presented:

  • Product and service updates
  • Market-specific promotions
  • Booking incentives
  • Tailored travel packages for the Colombian market

This collaboration reinforced Aruba’s position as one of the Caribbean’s most accessible and desirable destinations for Colombian tourists.

Event Highlights: Humor, Learning & Big Announcements

The event was as engaging as it was informative. Colombian comedian and impersonator Alexandra Montoya delivered a standout performance that added humor and heart to the gathering, aligning Aruba’s brand with joy, authenticity, and memorable experiences.

A major highlight was the announcement of LATAM Airlines’ new seasonal direct flights from Bogotá to Aruba. Beginning December 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026, LATAM will operate direct flights every Monday, Friday, and Saturday, making Aruba even more accessible during the peak holiday travel season.

Why Colombia Matters to Aruba’s Tourism Strategy

Aruba continues to invest in the Latin American market by empowering travel advisors—the frontline ambassadors who directly connect with travelers. By providing education, resources, and exclusive opportunities, Aruba strengthens loyalty, builds trust, and ensures long-term visibility in this growing market.

Final Thoughts: Aruba’s Bold Step in Bogotá

The Aruba Bogotá Travel Event was more than a tourism workshop—it was a strategic milestone. By combining professional training with emotional connection, Aruba highlighted its unique approach to tourism: blending knowledge with joy, partnerships with loyalty, and vision with opportunity.

Once again, Aruba has proven why it’s known as One Happy Island—not only to its visitors, but also to the travel professionals who share its story.
