On July 3rd, representatives from Casago Aruba visited the EPI School of Hospitality and Tourism to host an informative presentation about their established hospitality scholarship program. The session aimed to raise awareness among students about opportunities for further education at the University of Aruba and to encourage them to pursue careers in the island’s growing tourism industry.

Casago Aruba’s four-year scholarship, which fully funds tuition at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies at the University of Aruba, has already been supporting the development of local talent. The recent visit to EPI reflects the company’s continued commitment to outreach and educational support within the community.

Scholarship Application Details

Although the presentation was held at EPI, the scholarship remains open to all eligible students in Aruba who are passionate about hospitality and meet the selection criteria.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be accepted into the University of Aruba

  • Applications must be sent to fleur.vanbohemen@ua.aw by July 15th, 2025

  • Must demonstrate a genuine interest in the hospitality industry

  • Applicants should outline their career goals, reasons for choosing hospitality, and long-term aspirations

  • Must be between 17 and 25 years old

  • Must maintain consistent attendance in all enrolled courses

  • Must be committed to completing the degree program, as the scholarship covers the full duration

Casago Aruba views education as a cornerstone of sustainable tourism and continues to invest in initiatives that uplift local youth. By reaching out directly to students, the company hopes to inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals and strengthen Aruba’s position as a world-class destination led by homegrown talent.
