PALM BEACH (AAN) – A man was found dead in a parking lot behind several nightclubs in Palm Beach early Sunday morning following reports of gunfire.
The incident occurred after 1:00 a.m. in the area situated behind the nightlife venues. Authorities were alerted after multiple shots were heard near the parked vehicles. Upon arrival, first responders discovered the lifeless body of a male victim beside a car.
Versions circulating at the scene indicated that the shooter may have fired the weapon from a vehicle. Although an ambulance was dispatched to the location, medical personnel were unable to assist the victim.
The area was immediately cordoned off by police to allow for an investigation. The technical department arrived to collect evidence, and all relevant authorities were notified. Police confirmed that one person was fatally struck by a bullet and stated that they were awaiting the arrival of the forensic doctor to proceed with the examination.
