Introducing Piccolo: Aruba’s First Full-Service Kosher Steakhouse

VIEWS

A new chapter in kosher luxury dining has opened in the Caribbean. Piccolo, the first full-service kosher steakhouse in Aruba, is now welcoming guests at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino in Palm Beach. This milestone brings a long-awaited amenity to observant Jewish travelers—elegant, year-round kosher dining in a premier beachfront resort.

A Game-Changer for Kosher Travelers

Until now, kosher visitors to Aruba relied on seasonal pop-ups or traveled with their own food. Piccolo changes that narrative, offering a refined dining experience open to the public and hotel guests alike. With online reservations launching May 5, the restaurant is currently accepting walk-in diners.

New York Sophistication Meets Caribbean Comfort

Styled with the ambiance of an upscale Manhattan steakhouse, Piccolo’s design features soft lighting, plush seating, and sleek interiors—bringing a touch of New York elegance to the shores of Aruba. The menu offers classic steakhouse dishes with subtle Mediterranean influences, served with attentive hospitality and plated to perfection.

Signature Dishes on the Launch Menu

Piccolo’s opening menu reflects its commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients and elevated kosher cuisine. Highlights include:

  • Chopped Salad – Heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, mint, tahini dressing, focaccia croutons
  • Caesar Salad – Topped with a soft egg yolk
  • Short Rib Tacos – Slow-braised beef in house-made tortillas
  • Chicken Satay Skewers – Chargrilled with marinade
  • Pulled Beef Flatbread – On fresh, hand-rolled dough
  • Housemade Pastas – Penne Bolognese and Spaghetti Pomodoro
  • Grilled Baby Chicken – With Salsa Verde
  • Premium Steaks – Boneless Ribeye and a 24 oz. Cowboy Cut
  • Fresh Fish – Seabass and Salmon with seasonal vegetables
  • In-House Desserts and Sides – Made fresh daily

The restaurant also boasts a full bar with craft cocktails and premium spirits, delivering a rare kosher mixology experience in the Caribbean.

Shabbat Dining Coming Soon

Though closed Fridays and Saturdays, Piccolo is preparing to launch Shabbat dining services, including Friday night dinner and Shabbat lunch, served family-style in the main dining room. These meals will be offered by reservation only, with more details expected in the coming months.

More Kosher Options: Beachfront Pizza Stand

Located steps from the sand, a kosher beachfront pizza stand is now open on the Hyatt property. Featuring Cholov Yisroel cheese, kosher certification by Chabad, and a laid-back outdoor setting, it’s a perfect spot for beachgoers or families in search of a quick and delicious kosher bite.

Strict Kosher Supervision

Piccolo operates under the full-time kosher supervision of Rabbi Ahron Blasberg of Chabad Aruba. The restaurant upholds stringent standards, including:

  • Chassidishe Shechita
  • Bet Yosef certification
  • Pas Yisroel protocols

Every aspect of kitchen operations and sourcing has been developed in partnership with a dedicated kosher team.

Open to All — No Hotel Stay Required

You don’t need to be a Hyatt guest to enjoy Piccolo. Once reservations open on May 5, anyone staying on or off property will be able to book a table and enjoy Aruba’s finest kosher dining experience.

📍 Piccolo at Hyatt Regency Aruba
J.E. Irausquin Blvd 85, Palm Beach, Aruba
(Around a 30-minute walk from Chabad Aruba)

Piccolo brings world-class kosher dining to Aruba—combining flavor, elegance, and accessibility in one of the Caribbean’s most beloved destinations.
